I love museums! I always feel like they are a key part of going somewhere because it gives you the opportunity to see into the history and culture of the area you are in. And the history of Alaska is incredible. The museum takes you through the history of the native groups of people of the area, through the cultures of the present day people, and into the future of Alaska with the innovations and technologies. There is an entire floor of the museum dedicated to the Alaskan native tribes of today showing the differences and similarities between them. I walked through this museum two times because I just loved it and one round through just was not enough to really grasp everything they had there.
