I don’t know why, but around Pigeon Forge there are a lot of Christmas stores. And although there are so many, there is one that stand above the rest and is the absolute best place to get in the spirit of Christmas all year long and that is the Christmas Place.
We wandered through this incredible multi-building place and were just in awe in all that they had. It was not only decorations, but collectible items that you can’t find anywhere else, trees of all shapes and sizes, lights of every style, personalized ornaments, Christmas goodies, and a place to meet the man in red himself. And they had an entire room dedicated to the many different Christmas villages that there are. We spent a lot of time looking at the different pieces for the many different Christmas villages trying to figure out which ones family members had and which ones we might want someday. They had them all- classic, Christmas in the city, Alpine Christmas, How the Grinch stole Christmas, Harry Potter, Nightmare Before Christmas, Christmas story, Christmas vacation- you name it, they had it. It was amazing to see so many and the intricate pieces that each one had.
And if you still need some Christmas cheer, then right across the street is The Inn at Christmas Place. This majestic and elegant hotel is decorated for Christmas every day of the year. It was lovely to just walk through the building and see the different decorations everywhere and look at the conference rooms named Holly and Mistletoe. And for such a beautiful hotel, it is very reasonably priced. I think staying here would be amazing-especially if it were close to the holiday season.
