Well, after all the headache and fears, we have finally moved into our new house! And there was great rejoicing in the land! We’re so glad to be out of the small dump of an apartment that we’ve called home since we moved to Tennessee and into our own place. We’ve spent all week trying to get packed up and moved it but it has been quite the process. And now it’s time to celebrate with some new adventures.
This weekend we are making our way to the northeast corner of Tennessee to the small town of Bristol. This city is interesting because it is split between Tennessee and Virginia. This will be my first step into Virginia and I can’t wait to see what we can find in the area!

And then next week we will be on our way to Utah for Thanksgiving. We’ve debated back and forth about whether or not we should go with the pandemic, but ultimately we’ve decided that we need to go for a number of reasons. So we’ll carry copious amounts of hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes and take to the skies for a week of being home in the mountains.
One of the things that I’ve been happily surprised at here in Tennessee is how gradual the fall season is. It’s mid November and the trees are still sporting their bright colors. It’s just barely starting to get cooler around here. Because fall is my absolute favorite season, I love that it seems to last so much longer here than what I’m use to. Although my time in Florida definitely changed my tolerance for cold, I am loving this season and I am so excited and grateful for everything that this month has given us.

Thanks for popping in to see what’s been going on with me. Have a fantastic day 🙂
