The Sessions Hotel {Virginia}

For our weekend away, we stayed in The Sessions Hotel and I would absolutely recommend it. This once factory turned hotel is themed in the late 1920s/early 1930s music scene. This hotel is a tribute to the The Bristol Sessions where artists came to record their music for the first time onto records and played on gramophones. You walk in the entryway and immediately met with the cool music vibe of a bygone era. Each room is dedicated to an artist and the song they recorded during the Sessions and is decorated with guitar picks and antique microphones that serve as lights. I loved how you walk in and see the brick wall and the exposed wooden beams above you. My all time favorite part of the room though was the do not disturb sign telling everyone that you are recovering from a jam session and need to rest. This hotel is perfectly situated for everything you could want to do in the area and I would absolutely stay here any time I find myself back in this musically historic town.
