We took a short drive from my mom’s house up Provo Canyon. We turned up towards Sundance Ski Resort and continued up the road to Aspen Grove. This is the back side of Mount Timpanogos and is absolutely stunning. I have hiked these trails and made this drive up the canyon hundreds of times in every weather and I think that it is the most beautiful in the winter with the snow. This is especially true if you catch it just as the sun is beginning to go down and the light is perfect. One of the things I get the most homesick for is being so close to these mountains and enjoying their wonders so regularly.
