One of most beautiful areas of San Antonio is the Riverwalk. As the river winds its way through the heart of the city, visitors can enjoy walking along its sides exploring the many wonders of the city. This is probably the most visited place in the city and as such is full of wonderful restaurants and shopping areas visitors can wander into while enjoying the walk. There are also a number of statues and art pieces along the walk paying tribute to the history of Texas and to the wild west.
