After enjoying the calm of a beautiful state park, then it was time for some wild thrills of an amusement park. Our band of friends made our way to 6 Flags over Georgia where we spent the rest of the day. This amusement park is themed after DC comics, which is such a fun nod to all the comic characters that we love. And with such a theme, I was not surprised to see so many people of all ages wearing one of the many superhero capes that is sold there. They definitely excel at thrill rides! We started the day with soaring threw the air with Superman and ended the day with action packed flight of Batman and all kinds of other comic icons in between. Some rides were not open yet as it is still low season and they are gearing up for the high season. They also have a waterpark there within the amusement park that will open in May as a great way to cool off after the thrills of the rides. But overall we had a fantastic time getting in touch with the superhero in all of us and experiencing the rush and excitement of the rides.

{Know if you go :: 6 flags is really reasonably priced. If there is any chance of you doing more than just one day in the next year-then you should absolutely get the season pass as it is not much more to get the pass than to buy a one day ticket. And I would suggest getting the meal plan which is also a great value for the money and the food was surprisingly delicious. They also have multiple options for drinks refills and the unlimited drink refill option was absolutely worth it. }
