Bryce Canyon National Park {Utah}

I’m feeling a little homesick for Utah lately…especially for the national parks. This is a great time of year to visit the parks because it hasn’t gotten too hot yet.

My favorite national park of all time is Bryce Canyon National Park. I just can’t get enough of the hoodoos carved out of the red rock. It’s beautiful any time of year, but there is definitely an added beauty when there’s just a little bit of snow on the ground and the stark contrast it gives to the red rocks.

Bryce Canyon is the smallest of the 5 national parks in the state (lovingly known as the Utah High Five). One of the nice things about this park is that no matter what your accessibility level, whether or not you are a hiker- there is somewhere to go for amazing views. For those that are not able to hike down into the hoodoos, there are plenty of lookout points just off the main roads. And if you are a hiker, then you can go down into the bottom and stare up at the incredible formations.

Everyone can enjoy the beauty of this park no matter your ability. And I would say that everyone should experience the magic of Bryce Canyon at least once in their life.

      It really is stunning! And because of the interesting terrain in Southern Utah, anytime a syfy movie needs an alien planet they always go to Utah 😆

    Beautiful photos Meg. I visited Bryce Canyon awhile back (pre blogging days) and hopefully I’ll get back one day.
