"It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."

{Brussels, Belgium} Loved our visit to Brussels-stunning architecture, amazing food, random comics throughout the city, interesting city icons-there is something around every corner to discover. 🇧🇪 {Paris, France} this city is extraordinary and filled my soul with art, history, and pastries. The 'Joie de vivre' of Paris is a beautiful thing. {Brussels, Belgium} Visited the famous Mannekin Pis today and out of his thousands of ensembles from around the world today he was supporting Haiti. There was a large group of Haitians there celebrating with music and cheers that this city icon was part of them. {Paris, France} What a stunning place to go shopping! The Galleries Lafayette in Paris is the premiere shopping area of this fashionable city. With 6 floors to wander through you will not have a problem finding something of interest, but you may have a hard time deciding between everything you want to get. I could stare at the beautiful details of the dome all day long. {Paris, France} When the Eiffel Tower was constructed for the world fair there was great public outcry that it was an ugly scar on the beautiful face of Paris. Now of course it is the city's mmost recognized and loved icon. What an amazing day to get to see it for myself. {Tennessee} A visit to the beautiful Fall Creek Falls is always a great way to spend a day. The falls are incredible and the hike to the bottom of the falls takes you past amazing rock formations. This is one small corner of a massive and wonderful park. {Tennessee} Tennessee Walking Horses are a prized group of thoroughbreds and this legacy of horse breeding started here in the small town of Wartrace, Tennessee. After driving past pastures of beautiful horses we stopped for a visit at the Tennessee Walking Horse Museum. What an interesting look at this piece of Tennessee history. {Florida} Thinking back to the days when we lived in Florida and going to Stars Wars land. It was like fulfilling a childhood dream to be be so immersed in the movies that we grew up on. May the 4th be with you! {Georgia} One of our favorite things is to take a walk through Rock City Gardens on top of Lookout Mountain. The rocky bridges, slot canyons, and incredible views have made this a popular place for 90 years. It carries its own sense of magic as you walk through this creative and wonderous place. {Jerusalem, Israel} Today is #holocaustremembranceday honoring all those who were lost to the worst of humanity. Ive been thinking about my visit to the Holocaust History Museum in Jerusalem and seeing the Hall of Names where thousands of pictures and records cover the wall while every name is read. What a moving and heartbreaking tribute the entire complex is.
