Hey, I'm Meg and I'm so glad you stopped by! Here I hope to share some of the places around the states and around the world that I am discovering. I have found that the best moments traveling happen on accident when I least expect them or when they are nothing like what I imagined them to be...in short when they are a bit of a midadventure. So come along and find some misadventures with me!

{Tennessee} Spring is here and theres no better way to celebrate than by getting out and being part of it.We went for a hike at the Short Spring Natural Area where trails criss cross over the hills, the river and waterfalls are flowing, and the wildflowers are blooming. What a beautiful way to spend the day. {Tennessee} Hiking next to the Obed National Wild &Scenic River is like stepping into a magical world. The sound of the rushing river, the lush green leaves welcoming spring, and the moss covered rocks makes for a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of Tennessee. {Georgia} Are you a bigfoot believer? No matter where on the belief scale you fall when it comes to this elusive creature, a visit to the Sasquatch Museum and Research Center is an interesting look at the history, sightings, and research being done to understand more. With the largest number of casts made from footprints it may just open you up to wondering about the possibility. {Alberta, Canada} There are over 200 red chairs set out through all the national parks of Canada that offer lovely views of the parks. One of my favorite moments of our trip was finally seeing the red chairs for myself. Brilliant idea @parks.canada -I cant wait to come back and find more chairs at more beautiful spots! {British Columbia,Canada} We took a scenic drive through Yoho National Park and loved the snowy mountains. Although a little disappointed to not be able to do any hiking, we are making plans to visit again to see more of this beautiful park. {Alberta, Canada} Took an incredible hike through the snow at Johnston Canyon, a popular trail in Banff National Park. The snow and the ice gave the canyon a magical feel and it is now one of my favorite hikes. {Alberta, Canada}Lake Louise in the winter is stunning! We walked across the lake on the ice and the views everyway we looked were beautiful! {Tennessee} A visit to the Johnny Cash Museum is a Nashville must do. What a great tribute to such an incredible music legend as it takes visitors through the many decades that made the Man in Black who he was. {Tennessee} We got to experience the amazing Zoolumination at the Nashville Zoo where they have the largest diplay of Chinese lanterns in the country. Thousands of larger than life lanterns depicting Chinese mythical creatures from folktales. The lighted detail really showed the creativity and ingenuity in creating such an incredible experience. {Utah} We got to experience the incredible Midway Ice Castles while we were in Utah. To walk through the passageways of ice and slide down the ice slides puts a little magic in cold winter days.
