Who I am

Hello fellow wanderers!

My name is Meg and my wanderlust runs long and deep. I was about 5 when the travel bug bit me. My dad was in the navy and at the time he was stationed in London. He sent me postcards and pictures and I pulled out the map to find where he was. Ever since then, I’ve been looking up places and learning as much as I can about them. When I discovered the travel channel on TV, I would spend hours watching different shows and planning trips to all of the many places featured.

I have had some amazing opportunities to see many places, and with each experience I am changed for the better. Seeing the world and experiencing other places and cultures broadens horizons, gives understanding and gratitude, and changes my view on the world and on myself. And I have found that some of the greatest travel moments happen on accident.

Recently I moved from my beloved mountains of Utah to the Atlantic shores of Florida. I want to see everything I can in this area while I am here! And along with that I want to share some of the other places that I love and have learned so much from. So come along and join me for some grand misadventures!
