Travel Quote: “…Money Enough to Travel and to Idle…”

“…I hope that you will possess yourselves of money enough to travel and to idle, to contemplate the future or the past of the world, to dream over books and loiter at street corners and let the line of thought dip deep into the stream.”

This is such a wonderful quote, and I can easily see myself ‘loitering at street corners and letting the line of thought dip deep into the stream” this year. I love Virginia Woolf. Several of her books made a lasting impact on me, and I look forward to reading more. Have you read any of her novels? Cheers, Aiva xx

me too, I love the slow and pensive feel of travel this quote gives. I have read Virginia Woolf and I always love her style of writing. It has been a while since I read her, I think that will be the first of my book list for the year 🙂
