Edinburgh is one of those cities that is made to explore. I could easily spend weeks just wandering through the streets of this beautiful city. I love the buildings, especially in Old Town, and I love the little walkways between the buildings. And there is no shortage of things to do there.

The Royal Mile provides endless amount of interesting things to see and do. It starts at Edinburgh Castle and goes down to the Palace of Hollyrood (home of the historical Mary Queen of Scots). I loved the abbey of Hollyrood.

Close by is Carlton Hill that offers amazing views of the city.

Edinburgh will always be one of my favorite places.

Edinburgh is a beautiful city that’s really been forgotten. Most people focus on cities like London but Edingburgh has a unique history that you won’t find anywhere else.

Thanks for coming along with me today! I think thats what makes Edinburgh so wonderful is it doesnt have all the modern mix of things like other cities but remains beautifully historic. I could happily spend weeks just walking through all the streets of old town soaking it all in 🙂 –Meg
