The Pumpkin Walk {Utah}

This time of year the thing that gets me feeling terrible homesick for Utah, is thinking about The Pumpkin Walk in Cache Valley. Every year the community comes together in creating life size scenes using thousands of pumpkins and other gourds. Everyone is invited to come and walk through the giant park, making their way around the path looking at the incredible skill and creativity that goes into this. At night, the path is lined with the glowing faces of jack-o-lanterns. And there is usually a kindly witch handing out cookies to all who come. I have been to the Pumpkin Walk every year until moving out of state. And because I’ve been feeling sad at not getting to see it, I thought I would share with you some of my favorites from over the years of this incredible and wonderfully festive delight.
