Dead Horse Point State Park {Utah}

Now don’t let the name of this state park deter you from visiting. This state park is full of geological wonder that will make the discomfort at the name be well worth enduring. This park offers some incredible views of the Colorado River snaking its way through the thousands of layers of rock with distant views of Canyonlands National Park. This park is a place of wonder as you gaze out towards the landscape and try to grasp millions of years worth of development. While so many people flock to the national parks in Southern Utah, they often overlook the state parks that are just as majestic and awe inspiring. So be sure to visit Dead Horse Point State Park when you are in Southern Utah- the view will make it all worthwhile.

      Because it is right between Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, it gets overlooked. But it really is just as stunning as the national parks 🙂
