The holiday season has a way of transforming ordinary places into something magical. Every year, it seems there are more and more Christmas light displays, festive villages, and holiday experiences competing for families’ attention. With so many options around Nashville, we decided to try something a little different and visit Enchant Nashville, a Christmas light experience created in partnership with Hallmark Channel.
What made this experience unique was not just the lights themselves, but where they were located. Instead of walking through a traditional Christmas village or a park filled with displays, Enchant Nashville transformed a baseball stadium into a glowing winter wonderland.
While Enchant Nashville is no longer operating, we wanted to look back on our visit because it was one of those unique holiday experiences that gave our family a special Christmas memory.

Our Experience at Enchant Nashville
When we arrived, we were a little surprised that this incredible Christmas light display was being held inside a baseball stadium. Looking down into the field, though, we quickly forgot about the unexpected location and were amazed at the transformation below.
The baseball field had been completely reimagined as a Christmas wonderland filled with lights, decorations, activities, and holiday displays. It was impressive to see how they had taken a familiar sports venue and created an entirely different atmosphere.
Before exploring the lights, we decided to try one of the activities available and went ice skating. Families and couples lined up to borrow skates, and there were sizes available for everyone from little kids to adults.
The skating rink curved around sparkling lighted trees, creating one of those picture-perfect holiday moments that feels like it belongs in a Christmas movie. Watching families skate beneath the glowing lights really captured the festive spirit of the evening.
Meeting Santa at Enchant Nashville
One of the highlights of the night was visiting Santa.
Santa had his own little space away from the busiest parts of the event, which made the experience feel more personal. At the time, Tessa was still at the magical age of fully believing in Santa, and she was completely star struck.
Santa took time to talk with her, ask questions, and make her feel special. It wasn’t just a quick photo opportunity—it felt like he truly wanted to create a memorable moment for each child.
For families with younger children, this was one of the sweetest parts of the experience.
Exploring the Christmas Light Maze
The main attraction at Enchant Nashville was the incredible light maze.
When we entered, a lighted elf gave us a small booklet and explained that the reindeer had escaped and we needed to help find them. Each reindeer throughout the maze had a stamp station, turning the walk through the lights into an interactive scavenger hunt.
Off we went searching for all the missing reindeer.
The maze was filled with twists, turns, and surprises around every corner. Walls of lights guided visitors through the experience while creating plenty of spots for photos. The creativity behind the displays was impressive, and it was fun to see families of all ages exploring together.
One of our favorite areas was the interactive dance floor. Each step created new lights beneath your feet, and it was impossible not to smile as children and adults alike abandoned their usual seriousness and danced across the glowing floor.
Another favorite was the display featuring a polar bear and her cubs. The scenes throughout the maze were filled with small details that made wandering through the lights feel like discovering a new surprise around every corner.
The Giant Christmas Tree
At the center of the maze stood one of Enchant Nashville’s most recognizable features: the massive 100-foot Christmas tree.
The tree lit up the entire experience and acted as a centerpiece for the village. After searching through the maze and finding all the missing reindeer, we eventually found Rudolph waiting near the exit with his shiny red nose.
It was the perfect ending to our Christmas adventure.
When Holiday Magic Comes With a Price Tag
The hardest part of our Enchant Nashville experience was the cost. The lights were beautiful, and we appreciated the creativity that went into transforming the baseball field into a Christmas wonderland. But for a family outing, the price added up quickly.
One of the things that makes holiday experiences special is the feeling of wonder and simplicity—walking through lights, watching children get excited, and enjoying the little surprises along the way. But when every part of the experience comes with a significant cost, it can take away a little bit of that carefree Christmas feeling.
After completing the maze and finding all of the missing reindeer, we discovered that the prize was an opportunity to enter a drawing for a visit to a Hallmark movie set. While that was certainly a fun idea, it also highlighted that the biggest reward was the experience itself rather than something tangible for families to take home.
For us, that was probably the moment we realized this was a one-time experience. We were glad we tried it, and we loved watching our daughter enjoy the magic of the lights, but we also knew there were other Christmas traditions and experiences where our family could create just as many memories without the same price tag.
A Note About Enchant Nashville
Enchant Nashville was a seasonal Christmas experience that brought a holiday light maze, ice skating, Santa visits, and festive activities to the Nashville area. Since our visit, the event has permanently closed, but we wanted to share our experience because it was still a fun part of our family’s Christmas memories.
While it is no longer an option for a Nashville holiday outing, the experience gave us a chance to enjoy the magic of Christmas lights, watch Tessa experience the wonder of the season, and appreciate the creativity that went into transforming a baseball stadium into a holiday wonderland.
Enchant Nashville gave us a magical evening filled with sparkling lights, Christmas music, and memories as a family during one of those special childhood seasons when everything feels a little more magical.
While it was not something we decided to make an annual tradition, we were glad we had the opportunity to experience it. The creativity of the light displays, the excitement of searching for the reindeer, and watching Tessa visit Santa made it a night we will remember.
Sometimes a travel experience does not have to become a family tradition to still be worth doing. Sometimes it is enough to enjoy the moment, make a memory, and then continue exploring what comes next.
