Year In Review :: 2020

Whew, what a year it has been right! This has been a hard year, there’s no question about it. It has been hard on everyone for different reasons- no one has not been affected in some form or fashion this year. And if you’re like me, you may be feeling a little apprehensive about what this next year could bring. I have a few plans set in place for 2021 and I am just hoping that things will pan out for me to do them.

But the other part of this year has been one that I have been incredibly grateful for. I have been grateful for to have increased time with my family. I have been grateful to have life slow down a little bit giving me the space and time to reexamine in my life. I have been grateful for the new hobbies I’ve tried while I have been at home and the ability to redesign this little corner of the internet that I have. I’m grateful for the smaller adventures that we have had around where we are as we keep hoping for some bigger adventures to be possible soon. But most of all, I feel very grateful for the increased kindness, understanding, and resilience that this year has given us and my hope is that this next year brings with it a greater appreciation of those things.

For me and my little family, this has been a year of great changes for us. We started out this year living on the Atlantic Coast of Florida and are ending the year in our new house in the rolling hills of Tennessee. We have been able to check out some amazing state parks, a couple awesome national parks, and other places that we have just loved. So allow me to share with you some pictures of the places we have discovered and rediscovered this past year….

{FLORIDA}

{INDIANA}

{KENTUCKY}

{ALABAMA}

{VIRGINIA}

{UTAH}

{TENNESSEE}

Here’s hoping that 2021 is a great year for all of us and that the hard things we faced during this year only make us stronger and kinder in the years to come. May all your hearts be filled with peace, hope, and love this time of year. Thank you for following along with me as we wander around these different places and sharing with me some of your own wanderings. May this next year be full of new adventures. Happy New Year Everyone!
